General Agrippa Rides Again (2015)

This unique sculpture presents a blend of historical eras and materials, featuring a resin bust of Roman General Agrippa outfitted with a WWI helmet, mounted atop an antique cast iron lawnmower. The fusion of ancient Rome with early 20th-century wartime iconography creates a thought-provoking commentary on the continuity of military tradition across time. Crafted from recycled cast iron, steel springs, and war surplus elements, General Agrippa Rides Again was last exhibited at the Matzke Fine Art and Design Gallery in Camano, WA, in 2019.

Dimensions: 2’ (H) x 2’ (W) x 1.5’ (L)
Weight: Approximately 60 lbs

This impactful piece was exhibited at the ReVision: The Art of Recycling show at Deer Lake Gallery in October 2019, drawing attention to the complexities of urban life and the darker sides of modern society.

Dimensions: 16” in diameter
