How do you experience pleasure? Where does your pleasure come from? What does it mean to be in loving relationship with your body? Your pleasure?
Often, when we think of pleasure, we think of pleasure being given to us from outside sources. We think of stimulation, arousal, targeted gestures and particular objects or experiences that provide those sensations we describe as "pleasurable." Our relationship with pleasure is influenced by these outside sources, by what we have been told about pleasure; the places to seek pleasure, who can give us pleasure, what types of pleasure are acceptable or unacceptable, virtuous or dirty.
What does it look like then, to tune into authenticity in your experience of pleasure?
In this 75 minute workshop, Taylor Marie will offer an intimate, safe space for pleasure to be explored and celebrated beyond the rigid definitions and barriers that limit us from experiencing our pleasure's full potential. Inspired by erotic dance and somatics, Taylor will guide us through a series of reflections, discussions, and somatics-based movement practices that help the individual come into dialogue with their sensual body as a way of unraveling and unpacking where their unique experiences of pleasure live in their bodies and how to honour those parts of you.
Taylor invites their participants to bring anything into the space that they know will enhance their experience. We are a sex positive, kink-positive space, body positive space, so please wear clothing that makes you feel good and that will allow movement, and bring anything that brings you pleasure into our time together. You can even bring your partner(s)! This space is about you, your joy, your sensuality, your pleasure.
