THE BIZARRE

I have made a few odd artworks for Burning Man events. Burning Man has few rules for creating art. Firstly, your art must be interactive. The main rule is that the Burning Man Org will shut down your sculpture project if people are getting hurt on it. So there is no censorship or curation or judging applied at Burner events which I think is a good thing. I see a lot of self censoring going on in the art community and it bothers me.

Artists need to be involved in society and be free to amplify the dialog on important issues.
