"Canadian Gothic With Spaghetti Fork"

Inspired by the iconic painting “American Gothic” by Grant Wood depicting a couple with a pitchfork. I created a human-size rendering of a male and female figure out of scrapped tanks and pipe. In my original installation of this work, the curator complained that the pitchfork I used was hazardous. So I had to find a safer fork. I found a movie prop fork that might have been an Italian restaurant fixture so I included it in the assemblage.
